Add up to 30 SVG files (up to 20 MB each) and save them as JPG images. Choose 1x, 2x or 4x of the size set in the SVG, or an exact width, up to 8,192 px per side. JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white by default, or with black or any color you pick, and the quality slider goes from 10 to 100 (default 85). Everything runs in your browser.
Convert SVG to JPG in your browser
SVG files are made of shapes and text, which keeps them sharp at any size but limits where you can use them. A JPG opens in every image viewer, phone, office program and upload form. This tool draws each SVG at the output size you choose and saves the result as a JPG.
The 1x size is the width and height written in the SVG. When the file only has a viewBox, as many icons and exports do, its width and height count as pixels, and a file with no size at all gets the browser default of 300 × 150 px. Because the vectors are drawn at the final size, 2x and 4x give sharper detail, with no blur from enlarging a small image.
JPG or PNG?
Choose JPG when the image will go somewhere that expects photos, such as a form that only takes JPG, a document, or a print service. JPG files are usually smaller than PNG for illustrations with gradients, shadows or many colors.
Choose PNG when the image needs a transparent background or has large areas of flat color and thin lines, such as a logo or an icon. JPG compression can leave faint smudges around sharp edges and text, and raising the quality to 90 or more makes them hard to see. For transparent output, use SVG to PNG.
What to know about SVG content
The browser renders the SVG the same way it shows an image on a web page. Scripts inside the file don't run and nothing is fetched from other sites, which makes it safe to convert SVGs from any source. Images the SVG links to by URL and web fonts loaded from elsewhere won't show up, while embedded images and fonts installed on your device do. Animated SVGs become a still image.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my JPG have a white background?
JPG can't store transparency, so the transparent parts of the SVG need a color. White is the default. You can switch to black or pick any custom color under Background before converting.
Which quality setting should I use?
85, the default, suits most illustrations. Use 90 or more when the SVG has text, thin lines or flat colors, where JPG artifacts are easiest to see. Lower values make smaller files.
What resolution will the JPG have?
At 1x it uses the width and height set in the SVG, or the viewBox when there is none. 2x and 4x multiply both sides, and a custom width sets the exact pixel width with the height following the aspect ratio. Sides are limited to 8,192 px.
Can I convert many SVG files at once?
Yes. Add up to 30 SVG files, convert them with the same settings, and download them one by one or as a ZIP.
Are my SVG files uploaded anywhere?
No. Each SVG is drawn and saved as JPG inside your browser, and the files never leave your device.
