Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are and how we use them on this website. Please read this policy to understand what information we collect through cookies, how we use it, and how you can control their use.

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They serve purposes like remembering your preferences, understanding how you use the site, and delivering relevant advertisements. Cookies can be persistent (stored until they expire or you delete them) or session-based (deleted when you close your browser).

Types of Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary

These cookies are needed for the site to work as you expect. The only one we set ourselves is site_consent, which remembers your cookie choice. The image tools themselves don't use cookies. You can't opt out of necessary cookies, because the site would then ask for your consent on every visit.

Preferences Stored in Your Browser

The site remembers a few interface choices, such as your light or dark theme and whether the sidebar is collapsed. These are kept in your browser's local storage, not in cookies, and never sent to us. Converted images are kept in your browser's IndexedDB storage for up to one hour so the result page can show them.

Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site. These cookies collect information about pages visited, time spent on site, and general geographic location (country/city level). This data helps us improve the user experience and fix issues. We see analytics data only in aggregated reports and do not use it to identify individual users.

Advertising Cookies (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable advertisers to serve ads based on browsing history. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings or the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.

Note: Google may use additional cookies not listed here. See Google's cookie policy for a complete list.

We implement Google Consent Mode v2 to respect your choices. This means:

  • ad_storage controls whether advertising cookies can be set. When it is denied, Google receives pings without cookies.
  • analytics_storage controls whether analytics cookies can be set. When it is denied, measurement pings are sent without cookie identifiers.
  • ad_user_data controls whether user data can be sent to Google for advertising purposes.
  • ad_personalization controls whether ads can be personalized based on your activity.

All four are denied by default when you first visit. They are granted only if you choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time through "Cookie Settings" in the site footer.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the consent request may come from Google's consent message, which follows the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, instead of our banner. In that case your choices are made in Google's message, and "Cookie Settings" in the footer opens it again so you can change them.

Third-Party Cookies

In addition to our own cookies, third-party services we use (Google Analytics, Google AdSense) may set their own cookies. These are governed by the respective third party's privacy policy. We do not have control over these cookies.

Managing Your Cookies

You can control cookies through:

  • Your browser settings (block, delete, or restrict cookies)
  • The cookie banner, which you can reopen through "Cookie Settings" in the site footer
  • Google's Ads Settings for advertising preferences
  • Opt-out browser plugins provided by analytics and advertising networks

Note that blocking all cookies may affect site functionality. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled.

Your Rights

Depending on your location (GDPR, CCPA, or other regulations), you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Data portability

For more information on how we process data, see our Privacy Policy.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
