About PixelConvertor
PixelConvertor is a set of free image tools that run in your web browser. The site is operated by SoundsWire LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste 38385, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.
What We Do
PixelConvertor has tools for converting, compressing, resizing and editing images, and a group of pixel art tools. You can use it to convert HEIC photos from an iPhone to JPG, shrink images before they go on a website, resize product photos for a store listing, or turn a photo into pixel art for a game or a profile picture.
The tools cover format conversion (PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF and HEIC), compression, batch resizing, background removal, pixel art and metadata cleaning. Each one does a single job, and none of them costs anything to use.
How It Works
The tools run in your browser using standard web APIs. Your images are processed on your own computer or phone and are not uploaded to our servers, so there is no upload or download wait. Converted files stay in your browser for one hour so the result page can show them.
Our Privacy Commitment
Images often contain personal information, such as family photos, scanned documents or work files. We do not receive, store or look at the images you process, and you can use every tool without creating an account.
The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and Google AdSense to show ads; the privacy policy and cookie policy explain what they collect and how to manage your consent.
Why We Built This
Many online image tools ask you to create an account, upload your files to a remote server, or pay a subscription for basic features. We wanted tools that work without signing up and keep your files on your device.

The terms and conditions set out the rules for using the site, and the open source licenses page lists the libraries and the AI model the tools are built on, with their licenses.
How the Tools Handle Your Files
When you pick an image, the page reads it with your browser's File API and does the work on your device. Converters and compressors use WebAssembly builds of image codecs such as MozJPEG, libwebp, libavif and oxipng, the pixel art tools shrink the picture to a small grid and reduce its colors in a background thread of the page, and the background remover runs the U²-Net model inside your browser. The finished file is handed to the result page through your browser's own storage, and nothing is sent to a server along the way.
The background remover is the one tool that downloads something extra: the first time you use it, your browser fetches the AI model file from models.pixelconvertor.com and keeps a copy in its cache. Only the model travels over the network, never your image.
